WINKING KAT BOOKS

Winking Kat Books began as an independent publisher of original musical plays written by the team of P. Haines-Ainsworth and composer, Terence Alaric Levitt.  At that time, they had written over twenty musicals for young audiences and young performers that were being produced across the country.  Over the years, Winking Kat expanded those dramatizations into storybooks and animated videos. During the pandemic Winking Kat continued to grow their audience by recording performances of their stories as audio plays and streaming via their podcast, Winking Kat Tales. This year we branched out further to create games and puzzles for families to enjoy. 

Winking Kat's home base is near Seattle, Washington in the wet Pacific Northwest.  We remain a small, but busy creative team of writers, musicians, actors, and artists.
