Our Refund and Return Policy
Because of the nature of our product, Winking Kat has a limited return policy. We want to make sure you are satisfied with your experience with Winking Kat. So, we encourage you to read the product description and specifications before you purchase. If you have any doubt about the book, puzzle, or game you are considering, don't hesitate to contact us with your questions or concerns before you buy. We are happy to answer any questions you might have.
If you do receive an item that might be damaged or unusable in any way, we are happy to replace it or refund your purchase price.
Below are the instructions to request a refund or replacement. Also, listed are some situations when a refund or replacement will be issued.
Winking Kat Books agrees to replace damaged items upon request or, should the customer prefer, to refund the amount of their purchase. To be accepted, claims must be reported via our Contact Page explaining the reason for the request within 14 days of receiving the item. Any return request received beyond 14 days after delivery of the item(s) will not be considered for a refund.
Replacement items (if preferred) are shipped within 24 hours. Refunds to customer accounts or credit cards are applied within 24 hours of customer request.
Reasons for return of an item include: water damage, missing pieces, crushed or bent pieces, torn or soiled pages, etc. We will not refund an item because of the artistic content or difficulty of assembly. We advise our customers to read the information about each puzzle or book carefully before purchase. Winking Kat also provides clues on our website to help our customers successfully solve more challenging puzzles.
